If you are in the Manchester area, I really cannot recommend this production enough. Perhaps a little long, but nevertheless, there are some incredible performances at the heart of Buffong's direction which are complemented by Ellen Cairn's meticulous design. Starletta DuPois as mother Lena Younger shines, her performance filled with stoicism, stubbornness and heartbreak. A great play, served well by this production.
